What Size Storage Unit Do I Need?

In our experience almost every customer ask this question when they get to our Rossville & Ft Oglethorpe storage location. Easy Self Storage has a wide variety of options, so finding the right size won't be an issue. Ultimately, it all comes down to the simple question we ask: "What are you planning to store?"

We recommend making a list of all the items you plan on storing in your storage unit. Even better, start staging all the items in one place to better understand how much space it will all take up.

An important consideration most storage customers forget to keep in mind is: "How long are you planning to store the items?" and **"Do you need to access any items while in storage?" **

This is a critical consideration when selecting the right size storage unit. If you plan on just using storage for a short time or will not need access, you can likely get a smaller unit to save a little bit of money. However, if you plan to use it long-term or need to access your belongings while in storage, we highly recommend getting a larger unit so you have space to move around your unit and get to what you need to.

In the event the unit you decide to rent is not the correct size, we will gladly help you get the space you need. We can either upgrade you to a larger unit or get you a second unit nearby to avoid having to move twice.

31' x 30' (930 SF) | Extra Wide 2 car extra deep garage This is our largest unit. You can fit just about anything you can transport that fit through the large Roll Up Door.
